Responsible for performing annual inspections of all facilities and developing energy conservation projects to be done by contractor or by in house forces as a result of facility inspections. Serves as liaison with the Department of Energy and other federal and private groups to ensure the latest energy saving technologies are being installed throughout Smithsonian facilities.
